This Pink October, MGallery redefines hospitality with care at its heart, launching the "Care Concierge" to seamlessly blend hospitality and health prevention.

New research, conducted by MGallery Collection, reveals seven in ten people have more time and headspace to think about their health and wellbeing while travelling, as MGallery Collection introduces Care Concierge, bringing discreet breast-health guidance and meaningful wellbeing experiences to selected properties.

WEBWIRE

This Pink October, MGallery Collection is inviting guests to see travel not as a pause from looking after their health, but as an opportunity to make space for it. Through Move & Care, the luxury boutique hotel brand is bringing together two pillars across its global network: Move, with movement, sport and wellness experiences for guests; and Care, focused on breast-health awareness, prevention and support, building on MGallery Collection’s always-on Committed To Her pillar.

Hospitality as a helping hand

Running throughout October across the collection, guests will find a dedicated Pink October leaflet and QR code in hotel bathrooms, providing discreet access to trusted guidance on breast self-checks. Going one step further, eleven selected hotels will introduce Care Concierge, offering additional breast-health guidance and dedicated wellbeing experiences.

The campaign launches alongside new MGallery Collection research revealing a gap between intention and action: 76% of people delay taking action on preventative health checks, even when they know one is due, while seven in ten say they have more time and headspace to think about their health and wellbeing while travelling. Move & Care brings these insights into the guest experience, creating meaningful opportunities for movement, awareness and care while away from home.1

People often place their own health last. Yet time away can create rare moments to slow down, reflect and reconnect with wellbeing. For Pink October, MGallery Collection is putting that insight into practice to explore the role hospitality can play in helping guests prioritise their health, using the hotel experience as an unexpected but meaningful setting in which to encourage preventative care in a way that feels personal, reassuring and discreet.

The research also points to practical barriers that can prevent people from acting even when they know a check is due. More than half cite a lack of time due to busy schedules as one reason for delaying preventative care, while a lack of access to a trusted healthcare provider can create another barrier, with the Care Concierge created to close that exact gap.2

Maud Bailly, CEO at Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems said: “At MGallery Collection, we believe hospitality can be a force for positive change. For many years, our hotels around the world have actively supported women’s health initiatives, particularly during Pink October, while fostering a broader commitment to women’s wellbeing throughout the year. As a global brand, we have the privilege of reaching millions of travelers and the responsibility to use that platform with purpose. Care Concierge reflects our ambition to make prevention, education and access to trusted health resources more visible and accessible, creating a meaningful and lasting impact for women wherever they are in their journey.”

Moving from awareness to action

Through Move & Care, MGallery Collection is also taking its Pink October commitment one step further, complementing fundraising and awareness with opportunities that encourage guests to actively prioritise their wellbeing.

Move brings this to life through movement, sport and wellness experiences across the collection, including a global hotel teams challenge where property teams compete to log the most kilometres and raise funds for Gustave Roussy, as well as wellness and sport sessions hosted across participating properties.

Care focuses on preventative breast-health awareness and access to trusted guidance through the collection-wide self-check materials and, at eleven selected hotels, the dedicated Care Concierge experience.

Introducing the Care Concierge

At the heart of Pink October is Care Concierge, a new guest experience that brings MGallery Collection’s wider Committed To Her commitment to life in a tangible way. An always-on pillar of MGallery Collection, Committed To Her reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting women’s wellbeing, empowerment and access to care beyond a single moment or campaign. For Pink October, this commitment takes on a new preventative-health dimension, with Care Concierge available at selected properties throughout October. Designed as a natural extension of each hotel’s culture of care, the experience connects guests with trusted information, qualified expertise and local partners through three discreet formats:

  • Care Days: private one-to-one guidance sessions with approved local charity partners, offering supportive information in a calm and privileged setting.

  • Care Check-up: One-on-one prevention sessions, held in total privacy by trusted partners at the hotel. Each session is adapted to reflect the expertise of the local partner and local health regulations.

  • Pause for Pink: selected spa treatments accompanied by an approved self-check guide.

Participating properties may offer one or more of these formats according to their facilities, partnerships, and local requirements.

The concept responds to a clear appetite for practical support while travelling: five in ten consumers say they would consider using a hotel service that could help connect them with a trusted local provider for a preventative health check or screening during their stay.3

Partnerships for Impact

MGallery Collection is working with Gustave Roussy as its medical partner for Pink October, bringing specialist expertise to the campaign and supporting the development of its breast-health information and educational materials. This includes the dedicated self-examination leaflet and QR code available across participating MGallery Collection properties, giving guests discreet access to trusted guidance on breast self-checks throughout their stay.

Alongside this focus on prevention, MGallery Collection will continue to encourage fundraising and donations for breast cancer organisations, with participating properties supporting reputable local charities, healthcare organisations and medical partners through dedicated Pink October initiatives. This local approach enables each hotel to respond to the needs of its community while maintaining the campaign’s shared standards of care, credibility and discretion.

Anne-Sophie de Boissard, Head of Philanthropy & Sponsorship - Gustave Roussy said: “Looking after our health can sometimes slip down the list, especially when life is busy. That is why simple, trusted information and the right encouragement can make such a difference. By working with MGallery Collection, we have an opportunity to bring important breast-health messages into a setting where people may have more time to reflect, ask questions and think about their wellbeing. Our role is to make sure that information is clear, reassuring and medically sound, so people feel better equipped to take the next step that is right for them.”
