Rafa is back! Nadal Returns to the Court for the Academy’s 10th Anniversary
The 22-time Grand Slam champion will share the court with some of the rivals and friends who accompanied him throughout his career. It promises to be a particularly emotional occasion, as Rafa will play in front of a crowd for the first time since retiring from professional tennis in November 2024, at the Davis Cup Finals in Malaga.
The participating players and details on how to obtain tickets will be announced in the coming days. Tickets will be limited due to the capacity of the Academy’s Centre Court.
The Rafa Nadal Academy Slam will mark the start of the Rafa Nadal Academy’s 10th Anniversary celebrations, providing an opportunity to look back on the evolution of a project that was founded in Manacor in 2016 and built on the methodology, experience and values that have defined Rafa Nadal’s career.
The Rafa Nadal Academy Slam will be broadcast live on Movistar Plus, which will provide extensive coverage to ensure fans do not miss Rafa Nadal’s return to the court.
Since its inception, the Academy has worked to enable young players from all over the world to combine their sporting development with their studies and personal growth. Its philosophy views success as something that goes beyond the tennis court, placing hard work, respect and self-improvement at the heart of the learning process. This work has also translated into significant sporting achievements: Academy players have won 14 Junior Grand Slam titles (seven singles and seven doubles), while five have reached Junior World No. 1. Just three weeks ago, seven Academy players simultaneously featured in the Top 100 of the ATP and WTA Rankings. Among them is Alex Eala, one of the most exciting emerging talents in tennis, whose rise is making a significant impact on the international stage.

Over the past decade, this DNA has also spread far beyond Mallorca. International expansion has been one of the project’s main areas of growth, and it now has eight centres around the world: Manacor, Costa Mujeres, Greece, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Marbella, Egypt and Punta Cana.
It will undoubtedly be a special opportunity to enjoy Rafa’s tennis once again, and to do so in Manacor, at his Academy, the place where his legacy continues to inspire and develop the tennis players of tomorrow.
