London Pumpkin Patch returns to Parsons Green with new free play zone and Jack-O-Lantern SMASH Day

The London Pumpkin Patch (www.LondonPumpkinPatch.com) returns to Parsons Green (SW6) this half-term, welcoming families back for 24 October – 1 November, 10am–7pm daily, for London’s biggest family and children’s Halloween festival.

Now in its second year, The London Pumpkin Patch offers a genuine Halloween experience without having to leave the city. The London Pumpkin Patch transforms Parsons Green into the central London’s only pick-your-own pumpkin farm, where parents and children enjoy a number of Instagram-able Halloween displays, delicious food stalls and hear the tale of Luna the Puppy and The Greatest Halloween Story That’s Never Been Told before choosing their own pumpkin to buy and take home.

Visitors can upgrade their experience to include Trick-or-Treat Lane, which offers an immersive, story-led trick-or-treat experience, where children gather to knock on doors to meet the characters from the book, portrayed by live professional actors, and collect treats from each.


New for 2026, the event is introducing a brand-new complementary play zone packed with Halloween-themed games, including Jack-O-Lantern Toss, Giant Halloween Connect Four, Pumpkin Bowling, Hook-a-Pumpkin and Pumpkins and Crosses. On 1 November, the Patch will host a SMASH Day, inviting visitors to get messy on the Spiky Pumpkin Board and Splat Wall — with all pumpkin waste recycled into eco-friendly biofuel.

The event continues to be built around the children’s Halloween book, The Greatest Halloween Story That’s Never Been Told. Visitors can meet Luna the Puppy, Greta the Goblin and their friends from the book in person at Trick-or-Treat Lane. The book is available on Amazon.

Tickets for the Patch are £6 if booked before October 1st, and Trick-or-Treat Lane tickets are £10 per child.

The goal of The London Pumpkin Patch in 2026 remains the same: to bring a safer way to trick-or-treat to families living in the city. By bringing the pick-your-own-pumpkin experience into central London, the event gives Londoners access to a traditional countryside Halloween, while taking trick-or-treating off busy city streets and into a controlled environment where every door is a guaranteed treat.

Parsons Green is easily accessible by tube (Parsons Green station, District Line) and bus routes.

About The Greatest Halloween Story That’s Never Been Told
The Greatest Halloween Story That’s Never Been Told began life as a drawing of a puppy, made by the author’s seven-year-old daughter. That drawing became Luna, the hero of the story — a puppy who decides she wants to become a werewolf. Along her journey she meets goblins, ghouls and a host of other creatures, and learns that while you can’t become someone else, you can find within yourself the qualities you admire most in others. First launched at The London Pumpkin Patch in 2025, the book is available now on Amazon.
