FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week - Week 1 (2026) Nominees Announced

The NFL announced today that the nominees for FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week for Week 1 are:

• Buffalo quarterback JOSH ALLEN completed 20 of 29 attempts (69.0 percent) for 334 yards and two touchdowns with a 130.5 rating. Added six carries for 23 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
  
  

• Chicago quarterback CALEB WILLIAMS completed 21 of 29 attempts (72.4 percent) for 269 yards and two touchdowns with a 124.1 rating. Added 10 carries for 65 yards and two rushing touchdowns

• Detroit running back JAHMYR GIBBS recorded 186 scrimmage yards (156 rushing, 30 receiving) and two rushing touchdowns.
  
  

• Baltimore running back DERRICK HENRY recorded 163 scrimmage yards (144 rushing, 19 receiving) and three rushing touchdowns.
  
  

• New Orleans wide receiver CHRIS OLAVE recorded 10 catches for 182 receiving yards.
  
  

• Chicago running back D’ANDRE SWIFT recorded 18 rushes for 124 yards and three touchdowns.

For the 2026-27 NFL regular season, FedEx is once again teaming up with Feeding America to make donations of $2,000 in the name of the winning players ($4,000 total per week) to help combat food insecurity across the country.

This marks the continuation of the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards program’s support of Feeding America and its nationwide network of local food banks and pantries. Over the course of the entire season, select food banks and pantries will receive grants totaling more than $100,000.
