This event is a qualifier for the Mario Kart World Fall Cup 2026 that will take place exclusively for North American players in December. Race anytime from September 19 at 2:00 p.m. PT until September 20 at 6:00 p.m. PT.

Eligible participants from North and South America during the Mario Kart World Open September 2026 event will receive 50 My Nintendo™ Platinum Points. To join in, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch™ 2 system, Mario Kart World game, a Nintendo Account, an internet connection, and a Nintendo Switch Online* membership. 50 My Nintendo Platinum Points will be available to claim by participating in the event. Your My Nintendo Platinum Points will be ready to claim on the Missions page on or about September 29, 2026 (PT).

The Mario Kart World Open September 2026 event will use the following settings:

• Class: 150cc

• Teams: No Teams

• Items: Normal

• COM Difficulty: No COM

• Course Selection: Connected

• Maximum Races: 32

• Interval: 0:30

Registration Instructions:

To enter, you must participate in the Event in the Mario Kart World game during the event period. To access an Event, select the following, in order, within the Mario Kart World game: Online Play then Press the - Button to search for an event then Enter 4-digit Event ID. Enter the following code to enter the in-game event for that day.

Please note that by participating in this event, certain information associated with your Nintendo Account may be publicly viewable on the event results page. Such Nintendo Account information may include your username, player icon, your score, etc.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to legal residents of the US (including D.C.) and Canada who are age 13+ and Mexico who are age 18+ and have access to a Nintendo Switch 2 system, Mario Kart World game, Nintendo Account, reliable high-speed internet connection, and any Nintendo Switch Online membership. Tournament begins at 2:00 PM PT on 9/19/2026 and ends at approximately 00:00 PM PT [CW1] on 12/12/2026. To qualify for the Championship, players must place within the top 24 players in one (1) Qualifying Event. All potential winners will be notified within 10 business days following the conclusion of each Event. Twenty-four (24) prize packages will be awarded in total. There will be 1 Grand Prize winner, 1 First Prize winner, and 1 Second Prize winner who will each receive 1 trophy, 1 NintendoVS backpack, and 1 set of Mario Kart World decorative patches (ARV $379.74, $329.74 and $279.74 USD, respectively). There will be 21 Third Prize winners who will each receive 1 NintendoVS backpack and 1 set of Mario Kart World decorative patches (ARV $29.74 USD each). Total prize ARV $1,613.76 USD.
