10 Nosebleed Stakes Events Mark Americas Cardroom’s Second Mortgage Week

The largest buy-in on the OSS XL schedule arrives during Second Mortgage Week, when Americas Cardroom stages 10 Nosebleed Stakes events from September 21-28.

The high-stakes run features two tournaments on each of the five playing days and buy-ins between $5,200 and $25,500. Players will find No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha, plus 6-max and 8-max structures.

At the top of the range is the $25,500 NLH 8-Max on Sunday, September 27. The week then closes Monday, September 28, with two more events: a $15,400 NLH 8-Max and a $5,200 NLH 6-Max R/A.

That Sunday, September 27 puts the Nosebleed Stakes in the middle of an especially crowded OSS XL slate. Day 1B of both the $2.5 million guaranteed $2,650 Main Event and the $2 million guaranteed $1,050 Main Event runs the same day. The $500,000 guaranteed $66 Main Event reaches Day 2.

For viewers, the action does not end when a winner is decided. Every completed final table can be replayed with all hole cards exposed, creating a chance to follow the decisions that shaped each result.

Chris Moneymaker expects players such as fellow Americas Cardroom Pro Alex Foxen and David Peters to take part.

The high-stakes schedule forms one part of OSS XL, which runs September 6-29 with 336 events and more than $50 million in guarantees. Three leaderboard levels add more than $60,000 in cash and tournament tickets across the series.
