KB Equipment Rental Raises Funds for Dayton District Volunteer Fire Department at Dayton Fair
In addition to raising funds throughout the fair, KB Equipment Rental generously donated the use of its equipment before and throughout the event. Prior to the fair, the equipment was used to help dig water lines and prepare the fairgrounds, and the company continued providing equipment and assistance throughout the week, including helping with spreading of gravel, digging of trenches, carrying demolition cars out from the derby, prepping the track, and more.

"These organizations do so much for our community, and whenever we have the opportunity to contribute our equipment, our time, or help raise money, we’re happy to do it."
KB Equipment Rental once again demonstrated its commitment to the local community this past week, raising funds for the Dayton District Volunteer Fire Department during the Dayton Fair.
For KB Equipment Rental owners Kyleigh and Brandan Reesman, supporting local organizations and first responders is nothing new. The Reesmans, Dayton natives, have made community involvement a cornerstone of their locally owned business, regularly sponsoring charitable causes, helping raise money for local first responder organizations and offering year-round discounts to veterans and first responders.
“We’re proud to be able to help the Dayton Fair and the fire department,” said Kyleigh Reesman. “These organizations do so much for our community, and whenever we have the opportunity to contribute our equipment, our time, or help raise money, we’re happy to do it.”
The Reesmans are 3 rd generation business owners born and raised in Dayton and are also known for their other local businesses, MBR Repair, ML Reesman Trucking, and Rees Excavating. Their family has deep roots in the area, with the family’s local business history dating back to 1966. That history has helped build a strong reputation for quality service, reliability, and community involvement.
KB Equipment Rental is located in the Atwood/Elderton area, approximately one mile from Keystone Lake just off Route 210, and serves customers throughout the surrounding region.
The company offers a wide selection of rental equipment, including skid steers, mini excavators, man lifts, stand-on mini skid steers and dump trailers, along with numerous attachments such as forestry mulchers, post pounders and more.
KB has become known for offering extremely competitive rental rates while maintaining clean, reliable equipment. For example, a new 75-horsepower Kubota SVL75 track loader rents for approximately $275 per day at KB Equipment Rental, compared with approximately $355 per day advertised locally for the same make and model through a Kubota dealership.
The company also offers equipment delivery and has built a reputation for going above and beyond for its customers. Numerous five-star Google and Facebook reviews highlight KB’s friendly customer service, clean and well-maintained equipment, and willingness to take extra time to show customers how to properly operate their rental equipment.
KB Equipment Rental is BBB accredited, a proud member of the American Rental Association, and was recently voted Leader Times’ Best of the Best Gold for Equipment Rental.
Community involvement remains a major focus for the Reesmans. In May, KB Equipment Rental was also recognized for awarding four scholarships to graduating seniors in Armstrong and Indiana counties.
“We believe that when you’re a local business, you should act like a local business,” said Brandan Reesman. “We’ve been fortunate to have a community that supports us, so we want to do everything we can to support it right back. That means supporting our volunteer fire departments, other local businesses, community events and the people who make this area such a great place to live.”

The funds raised for the Dayton District Volunteer Fire Department and the donated equipment used throughout the Dayton Fair are just the latest examples of KB Equipment Rental’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.
