Americas Cardroom CEO Played Two Final Tables. New Replayer Lets Everyone See the Cards

Americas Cardroom CEO Phil Nagy spent the first Sunday of OSS XL at the tables, made two final tables in events bearing his name and then pointed players toward a new feature that removes much of the mystery from what happened there.

Playing as Justsomefish72, Nagy finished second in the $10,300 Phil’s Thrill for $78,000. The 26-entry tournament built a $260,000 prize pool. He followed that with fifth place in the $2,650 Mini Phil’s Thrill, worth another $10,800 from a $90,000 prize pool. The two results produced $88,800 in combined payouts.

The more unusual part of the story comes after the final cards. Americas Cardroom’s newly launched FT Replayer automatically adds every completed tournament final table to a free browser library with all hole cards exposed. No Americas Cardroom account or software download is required.

Nagy created the Phil’s Thrill family as a regular place to compete directly with the site’s high-stakes player pool. The lineup expanded again Sunday with the first Mini Phil’s Thrill PLO. The $2,650 Pot-Limit Omaha event attracted 54 entries and generated a $135,000 prize pool, with the tournament planned to return weekly.

That gives the Replayer another recurring set of tables to capture, while OSS XL supplies hundreds more. The September 6-29 series includes 336 events and more than $50 million in guarantees, meaning completed final tables will continue flowing into the replay library throughout the month.
