David Pinkston is returning to the Manila International Book Fair for another opportunity to connect with Filipino readers and introduce misunderstood Scripture behind his growing body of Bible-centered work. He will hold his second MIBF book signing on September 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Reading Glass Books’ Booth 2-102 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Pinkston’s interest in biblical study began with his Christian journey in 1993 and has continued through decades of independent research into the King James Bible. His background as a former member of the U.S. Army’s 10th Special Forces and longtime technology professional adds to the range of experiences that have shaped his approach to studying Scripture.

His first featured title, “To Open One’s Eyes,” explores a series of significant biblical subjects, including creation, the Trinity, Jesus Christ, biblical prophecy, the seventieth week, and the prince of the world. The book examines passages that have been overlooked, misunderstood, or left untaught, presenting material to encourage believers, scholars, skeptics, and spiritual seekers to take a closer look at Scripture.

His second work, “The Untold Story of Satan’s Seed,” focuses on how deception entered the early church through imitation and eventually influenced Christian teachings. Through a Scripture-centered examination, the book encourages readers to question inherited doctrine, evaluate religious claims against the Word of God, understand His Divine work as our spiritual guide to this life and beyond, and recognize Christ as the foundation of faith.

Together, the books reflect Pinkston’s broader interest in encouraging readers to engage more deeply with biblical questions rather than accepting every interpretation without examination. His return to MIBF gives attendees the chance to explore these ideas firsthand, speak with the author about his research, and have copies of his books personally signed.

The Manila International Book Fair continues to bring together readers, authors, publishers, educators, and literary professionals from across the Philippines and beyond. Pinkston’s return adds another opportunity for fairgoers to encounter works that approach biblical study through independent research and close attention to Scripture.
