OSS XL Gets Underway With Six-Figure Scores and $50M+ Still Ahead at Americas Cardroom

The first Sunday of Americas Cardroom’s Online Super Series XL did not need a warm-up. On Sept. 6, the $600,000 GTD OSS XL #13 High Roller drew 1,118 entries, lifted its prize pool to $670,800 and sent $130,209.51 to winner BADGERING.

That was the largest single payout among the highlighted opening-day results, but it was not the only six-figure tournament. OSS XL #16, carrying a $2,650 buy-in and $500,000 guarantee, drew 203 entries for a $507,500 prize pool. A final-table deal left NewYorkMidgets first with $95,311.68, just ahead of KevinParCoeur at $93,874.52 and Olivander1 at $87,459.25.

The launch also showed the range built into the series. WilliamRed topped 3,373 entries in the $109 Moneymaker for $62,933.20, while lukewarmwater beat a 4,752-entry field in the $16.50 Sunday Splash for $10,952.96. A $100,000 GTD 6-Max Mystery Bounty and a $50,000 GTD PLO 6-Max PKO added bounty and Omaha action to the same opening slate.

Across those six highlighted tournaments, Sept. 6 produced $1,803,300 in prize pools from 9,689 entries. The full series has much farther to run: OSS XL spans Sept. 6-29 with 336 events and more than $50 million guaranteed.

The closing stretch features three Main Events with $5 million combined guaranteed. Four major multi-flights carry another $2.225 million combined GTD, while 10 Nosebleed Stakes tournaments arrive Sept. 21-28 with buy-ins from $5,000 to $25,000. More than $60,000 in added cash and tournament tickets is also available through the OSS XL leaderboard competition.

The two largest Main Events begin with Day 1A on Sept. 20 and Day 1B on Sept. 27 before Day 2 on Sept. 28 and final tables on Sept. 29. The $66 Main Event starts Sept. 13. A 50% Reload Bonus up to $500 is available through Sept. 10 with code HUGE on qualifying reloads of at least $25.

Running alongside the series is Americas Cardroom’s $2.5 million GTD 25th Anniversary Tournament, a $250 cumulative-stack event that reaches Day 2 on Sept. 28 and its final table on Sept. 29.
