ACR Poker Misclick Story Ends With a $250,000 PLO Mystery Bounty

ACR Poker player “R88P” accidentally entered the $3 Million GTD Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty Venom while trying to register for the separate $12 Million GTD No-Limit Hold’em event. The mix-up ended with the PLO tournament’s $250,000 top Mystery Bounty.

Both Venoms had a $2,650 buy-in, but R88P only meant to play the No-Limit Hold’em tournament. Once the confirmed PLO registration could not be canceled, the player took the unexpected seat and advanced to Day 2 last Monday.

By that point, every remaining player was already in the money and Mystery Bounties were live. Each knockout awarded the eliminated player’s hidden bounty to the player who scored the knockout, with the value revealed afterward.

One of R88P’s knockouts turned the registration error into the story of the tournament. The reveal was $250,000, the largest Mystery Bounty available in the PLO Venom. R88P later said the PLO registration had been a misclick and the no-limit tournament was the intended entry.

“Best part is I didn’t mean to register PLO, misclicked only meant to play the no limit,” R88P said.

The No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha Venoms ran as separate multi-day tournaments. The NLH event had a $500,000 top Mystery Bounty, while the PLO event topped out at $250,000. Their guarantees were $12 Million and $3 Million, respectively.

R88P went on to finish 13th in the PLO tournament, receiving $10,840 in prize money and ending the event with $265,000 in total bounties. The tournament finished with a $3,095,000 prize pool, above its $3 Million guarantee.

ACR Poker shared the misclick story on X as the accidental entry became a quarter-million-dollar result. Afterward, R88P contacted ACR Poker to request an increase to cryptocurrency withdrawal limits. The request was handled immediately, allowing the substantial withdrawal to be processed faster and more smoothly.

The result left R88P with an unusual route to the PLO event’s largest bounty: an unintended registration followed by the $250,000 Mystery Bounty knockout. The PLO run had begun entirely by accident.
