The Story Behind Tiramisu at Dunkin’®

Inspired by the classic Italian dessert and the tiramisu beverages popping up at cafés, Dunkin’ saw an opportunity to bring the flavor guests are craving to everyday coffee runs.

Enter Dunkin’s tiramisu lineup featuring four new beverages: Tiramisu Cloud Latte, Tiramisu Shakin’ Espresso, Tiramisu Marshmallow Matcha and Tiramisu Protein Latte.

To create the tiramisu flavor swirl that gives the lineup its decadent taste, the culinary team at Dunkin’ leaned into the dessert’s signature notes of rich espresso, vanilla and mascarpone-style creaminess. The team wanted to bring out the roasted coffee flavor without any added bitterness, resulting in a flavor that captures the essence of tiramisu in every sip.

The team also designed each beverage to highlight a different side of the dessert. The Cloud Latte features a dusting of hot chocolate powder that evokes tiramisu’s iconic look, the Shakin’ Espresso delivers bold coffee flavor, the Matcha lets the vanilla and creamy notes shine, and the Protein Latte showcases the dessert’s full flavor profile with an added boost of protein.
