Samsung Announces One UI 9 Beta Feature Update for Galaxy S26 Series

Samsung is bringing a major feature update to One UI 9 beta users on the Galaxy S26 series, with the rollout starting Aug. 28.

The update will introduce highly anticipated features already seen in the latest Galaxy Z series, each designed to make everyday tasks feel more seamless.

• My FanCam makes it easier to capture and share standout moments, using AI to keep a selected person in focus and automatically reframe footage into different aspect ratios for social platforms.
  
  
• Now Brief builds on the personalized experience by bringing useful information and recommendations together in customizable cards tailored to users’ routines, interests and daily needs, while also providing security and privacy insights that highlight potential risks and recommended protective actions.
  
  

The update also enhances Now Nudge to deliver smarter, more contextual suggestions that help users better navigate everyday tasks and interactions.

Users already enrolled in the Galaxy S26 series One UI 9 beta program will receive a notification to download the update starting Aug. 28.
