Journey through the Lands Between, a fantasy world from Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator of the influential DARK SOULS video game series, and best-selling fantasy author, George R. R. Martin.

Traverse the breathtaking world on foot or on horseback, alone or online* with other players, and fully immerse yourself in the grassy plains, suffocating swamps, spiraling mountains, foreboding castles and other sites of grandeur.

Create your character and define your playstyle by experimenting with a wide variety of weapons, magical abilities, and skills found throughout the world.

While playing online, Furlcalling Finger Remedy can reveal golden co-op multiplayer* signs. Whether you’re trying to take on normal enemies, bosses, or invaders, you can touch golden signs to summon up to two other players into your world for assistance.

Using a Tarnished’s Furled Finger creates a summon sign that allows other online players* to call you into their worlds. While it’s great to lend a helping hand, this can also be a useful tool to learn about bosses or farm Runes.

If you strategically move behind an enemy and hit your attack, this will cause you to backstab them. Backstabs are a great way to quickly eliminate an enemy or deal a significant chunk of damage to them.

Some NPCs can be a little chatty—which is a good thing! Going through their dialogue can reveal more about the world and what to watch out for.

You may notice a golden ray reaching out after touching a Site of Grace. This Guidance of Grace points you towards a path that advances the main story. This means that you can get lost in exploration whenever you’d like, but the Guidance of Grace will always direct you back to your main objective: becoming Elden Lord.

There is no easy path to becoming Elden Lord. Remember that every death can be a lesson to build your own skills. While it may be difficult at times, the sense of accomplishment can be incredibly rewarding, especially as you unravel a little more of the vast world’s mysteries.
