A fourth path to Day 2 opens today as Americas Cardroom begins Day 1D of its $15 million Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms at 12:05 p.m. ET. No-Limit Hold’em players are competing for a $12 million guarantee, while the parallel Pot-Limit Omaha event carries a $3 million guarantee. Both tournaments have a $2,650 buy-in.

Three starting flights have already produced 1,526 NLH entries and 418 PLO entries. From those fields, 184 NLH players and 51 PLO players are through to Day 2, when the remaining field reaches the money and Mystery Bounties come into play.

The busiest flight so far was Day 1B. It drew 1,105 NLH entries and 238 PLO entries last Sunday, giving the two events their strongest single-flight turnout to date.

The race for position remains open.

Players can enter the remaining flights even after advancing, then combine qualifying stacks for Day 2. That leaves room for newcomers to qualify and for existing qualifiers to build on what they have already secured.

eko4gg currently leads NLH with 8,542,202 chips, equal to 213 big blinds. In PLO, Winkyface1984 holds 17,037,699 chips, a stack of 608 big blinds.

The knockout stage carries the largest individual bounty prizes. NLH features a $500,000 top Mystery Bounty and PLO offers a $250,000 top Mystery Bounty. Each successful Day 2 knockout has a minimum $5,000 Mystery Bounty in both events.

Meanwhile, Venom Fever has awarded 853 seats worth $2,650 each. The promotion guarantees more than 1,500 seats before it ends Sunday, August 30, using routes that include Direct and Mega Satellites, Beast tournaments, Venom Madness, Survivor Flips and Spin to Get In. Some routes start at $0.

The Venom Specials feature 91 added tournaments and $10.16 million in guarantees across seven dates. The series opened Monday, August 17, with 15 events offering $860,000 guaranteed and ultimately awarding a combined $1.125 million in prize pools.

After today, flights remain on August 23, 24, 27 and 30. Day 2 begins August 31 at 1:05 p.m. ET, with both final tables scheduled for September 2 at 4:05 p.m. ET.
