Fourth starting flight begins Thursday, August 20 at 12:05 p.m. ET.
ACR Poker prepares to open Day 1D of its Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms today at 12:05 p.m. ET. The paired events offer $15 million in combined guarantees, split between $12 million in No-Limit Hold’em and $3 million in Pot-Limit Omaha.
The latest starting flight is the fourth of eight chances to qualify or add chips before Day 2 on Monday, August 31. Players who advance more than once can combine their qualifying stacks, keeping the race active for those already through as well as those still seeking a first stack.
Through three flights, NLH has registered 1,526 entries and sent 184 players forward. PLO has recorded 418 entries, with 51 players advancing. Everyone remaining on Day 2 will be in the money as the Mystery Bounty phase begins.
Day 1B supplied the strongest turnout to date. Last Sunday’s flight attracted 1,105 NLH entries and 238 PLO entries.
Two large stacks currently lead the way. eko4gg sits first in NLH with 8,542,202 chips, or 213 big blinds, while Winkyface1984 leads PLO with 17,037,699 chips, equal to 608 big blinds.
Once the bounty phase starts, the NLH field will chase a $500,000 top Mystery Bounty. The largest PLO Mystery Bounty is $250,000. A successful Day 2 knockout has a minimum $5,000 Mystery Bounty in both events.
Venom Fever has awarded 853 seats already, with the promotion guaranteeing 1,500 total seats before ending Sunday, August 30. Its qualification routes include Direct and Mega Satellites, Beast tournaments, Venom Madness, Survivor Flips and Spin to Get In, with some paths beginning at $0.
The Venom Specials schedule includes 91 added tournaments and $10.16 million in guarantees across seven dates. The opening slate on Monday, August 17 featured 15 tournaments and $860,000 guaranteed that finished with a combined $1.125 million in prize pools.
Starting flights continue August 23, 24, 27 and 30 after Day 1D. Day 2 begins August 31 at 1:05 p.m. ET. Both final tables are set for September 2 at 4:05 p.m. ET; the PLO event moves directly from Day 2 to its final table.
