Aon Names Brad Lorimer Chief Executive Officer of Canada

TORONTO – WEBWIRE

Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, announced that Brad Lorimer has been named CEO of Canada, effective September 1, 2026.

In his new role, Lorimer will lead Aon’s business across Canada, helping clients make better decisions through actionable insights, differentiated Risk Capital and Human Capital capabilities and leading solutions. He will remain a member of the Canadian Executive Committee and join the North America Executive Committee and report to Anne Corona, CEO of North America for Aon.

As CEO of Canada, Lorimer will build on the firm’s strong momentum in the market, working closely with colleagues across North America to deliver integrated solutions that help clients address increasingly interconnected business challenges and drive sustainable growth.

“Brad is an exceptional leader who has consistently demonstrated the ability to bring teams together, build strong client relationships and create momentum across the business,” said Corona. “His deep understanding of our business and the Canadian market, combined with his commitment to clients and talent for building high-performing teams, make him well-suited to lead the continued advancement of our Aon United strategy across Canada and North America.”

Lorimer has more than 25 years of experience spanning brokerage, underwriting and client service, including 20 years with Aon. Most recently, he served as East and Central Region Leader, overseeing Aon’s business across Human Capital and Risk Capital in Eastern and Central Canada. Prior to that, he was Health and Financial Institutions Leader for Canada and served as National Director of our Financial Services Group in Canada. He will continue serving as East and Central Regions Leader for Canada until a successor is identified, ensuring continuity for colleagues, clients and the business during the transition.

“Canada is an incredibly important market for Aon and I am honored to take on this role,” said Lorimer. “Our clients are navigating a rapidly changing environment shaped by increasingly interconnected risk and people challenges. I look forward to working alongside our talented colleagues across Canada and North America to help clients make better decisions, strengthen resilience and unlock new opportunities for growth.”

The company also extends its deep gratitude to Paul Croft for his leadership during the interim period. Following the transition, Croft will continue in his role as Chief Operating Officer of Canada for Aon and a member of the Canadian Executive Committee.
