For more than a decade, Casper TNG has been one of Toronto’s defining rap voices. From independently building one of the city’s most loyal fanbases to earning Platinum success with “The Market,” every chapter of his career has led to this moment. Today, Casper releases Draft Day, his official debut album via Universal Music Canada, marking the culmination of ten years of hard work, perseverance and ambition and the beginning of his boldest chapter yet.

Named after the defining moment that launches an athlete’s professional career, Draft Day is built on the belief that success is earned long before your name is called. More than Casper TNG’s official debut album, it represents a decade spent honing his craft, building one of Toronto’s most loyal fanbases and delivering multiple Platinum hits. Across 14 tracks featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie, M Huncho, OzzCash, K Money and 100Bandplan, Casper transforms those experiences into his most ambitious, personal and fully realized body of work to date.

“Draft Day represents the start of my professional career, but it also represents everything it took to get here,” says Casper TNG. “Everyone knows I used to play basketball, and draft day is the moment every player works toward. But you only get there because of all the work that came before it. That’s what this album is to me. It’s a fresh start, but it also represents everything I’ve been through to earn this moment.”

The release of Draft Day caps a landmark year for Casper TNG. “The Market” earned Platinum certification, became the No. 1 sound on TikTok in Canada for 14 consecutive weeks and inspired an official remix featuring Grammy-nominated rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie. Casper was named to Rolling Stone Canada’s Future of Music 2026 class, further cementing his place as one of Canada’s most exciting artists poised for global success.

The story of Draft Day extends beyond the music. Filmed across Paris, London, Thailand, the Dominican Republic and Toronto, the album’s visual campaign reflects an artist whose world continues to expand while remaining firmly rooted in the place that made him.
