H&M opens its first store in Paraguay

On Tuesday, August 11, the brand kicked off the celebrations with an exclusive VIP event, where celebrities, fashion influencers, and content creators were the first to discover H&M Paseo La Galería.

Michelle Peters, Chirola, Anto Volpe, Stephania Stegman, Sere Argaña, Renato Prono, and Alba Riquelme, among other well-known personalities, wore H&M collections during the event, which brought together more than 350 guests and featured a special performance by artist Kaese.

The celebrations continued on Thursday, August 13. Anticipation had begun the night before, when the first person arrived in line at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Early on Thursday, 375 people gathered to wait for the store’s official opening, enjoying a lively atmosphere with music by DJ Christian Coronel, entertainment by actress and TV host Andrea Quattrocchi, and the staff of the new H&M Paseo La Galería store.

At 11:00 a.m., the iconic ribbon-cutting took place, led by Daniel Ervér, CEO of H&M Group; Anna Barigazzi, General Manager for H&M Chile, Peru, Uruguay, and Paraguay; Sam Miller, Managing Director LATAM & MEA; Henrik Kroon, Chief Commercial Officer; Óscar Espinoza, Store Manager; and Eugenia Sánchez, Area Manager. With this ceremony, the store was officially inaugurated.

Upon entering the store, the first customer in line received a PYG 1,000,000 Gift Card, while the next 200 customers each received a PYG 300,000 Gift Card.

H&M Paseo La Galería will be open Monday to Thursday from 9 AM to 9 PM, Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday and Holidays from 10 AM to 9 PM.

Next week: H&M Distrito Perseverancia

The celebration will continue with the opening of H&M’s second store in Distrito Perseverancia on Saturday, August 22. To mark this special occasion, the brand will once again reward its earliest clients with PYG 300,000 gift cards for the first 200 people in line, while the very first person in line will receive a gift card worth PYG 1,000,000.

Once the store opens, clients will also have the opportunity to enjoy exclusive styling sessions led by stylist May Royg, along with special experiences and other exciting surprises prepared to celebrate the opening of this new store.

With these two store openings, H&M officially begins its journey in Paraguay and reaffirms its commitment to making fashion and quality available at the best price, in a more sustainable way, while offering an inspiring shopping experience for everyone.

Since the Opening Day, H&M Distrito Perseverancia will be open for clients Monday To Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 9 PM.
