Jashayde Greenwood pens first professional contract
Chelsea Football Club is pleased to announce that Academy striker Jashayde Greenwood has signed his first professional contract with the club following his 17th birthday.
The forward joined Chelsea ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, arriving from Wolverhampton Wanderers to link up with our Under-18s squad.
Greenwood had already gained Under-18 Premier League experience during the 2024/25 season, making seven appearances and scoring once for Wolves while still a schoolboy.
He made an immediate impact after joining the Blues, helping Dan Hogan’s Under-18s side lift both the southern and national titles in Under-18 Premier League.
Across all competitions, Greenwood made 23 appearances and scored nine goals during the campaign.
On the international stage, Greenwood has represented England at Under-16 level.
