Announcing monetisation of M&M shares received as endowment contribution
In continuation of our announcement dated August 12, 2026, Mahindra University and its sponsoring body, Mahindra Educational Institutions (together, the “University”), is pleased to announce the completion of the sale of the Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (“M&M”) equity shares that had been received by them as an endowment contribution from Anuradha and Anand Mahindra.
The sale has been carried out through the stock exchange.
The proceeds will be applied towards the University’s educational and charitable objectives, including infrastructure, scholarships, research, student aid and academic initiatives.
The sale completes the monetisation of the M&M shares received pursuant to the endowment contribution.

MEI supports Mahindra University’s educational and charitable objectives, including infrastructure development, research grants, scholarships and student aid. MEI’s Memorandum of Association strictly prohibits the distribution of profits; all funds are utilised solely for the promotion of education.
