Venom Specials Bring 91 Extra Tournaments to Americas Cardroom’s August Window

Americas Cardroom has completed the picture for its late-August tournament calendar, revealing 91 Venom Specials with combined guarantees of $10.16 million across seven dates from August 17 through August 31.

Rather than running as a separate requirement of the headline Dual Venom events, the Venom Specials sit alongside the busiest parts of the schedule. Players can choose from the added tournaments even if they are not participating in the $15 Million Dual Venoms.

That creates a wider mix of action during major starting flights and Day 2 periods. The lineup covers regular No-Limit Hold’em tournaments, Progressive Knockouts, 6-Max events, Mystery Bounty tournaments and Omaha variants, with guarantees ranging from $15,000 to $750,000.

The first Venom Specials stretch begins Monday, August 17 with 15 tournaments and $915,000 guaranteed. Eleven events worth $820,000 follow on Thursday, August 20, before Sunday, August 23 raises the daily total to $1.84 million across 12 tournaments. Those three dates combine for $3.575 million.

A new run starts Monday, August 24 with 11 tournaments and $805,000. Thursday, August 27 supplies another 11 events and $995,000.

The largest daily totals arrive at the end. Sunday, August 30 features 13 tournaments carrying $2.34 million, led by guarantees of $600,000, $500,000 and $250,000. Monday, August 31 then closes with 18 tournaments and $2.445 million, including the schedule-high $750,000 GTD event, a $500,000 GTD tournament and a $200,000 GTD Progressive Knockout.

The wider window begins earlier with the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms on Thursday, August 13. The NLH event guarantees $12 million and offers a top bounty of $500,000; the PLO event guarantees $3 million and has a $250,000 top bounty. Both carry a $2,650 buy-in.
