ACR Poker Builds a $10.16M Side Schedule Around the Dual Venoms

ACR Poker is adding 91 Venom Specials to seven high-traffic dates in its August tournament window, putting $10.16 million in total guarantees around major Dual Venom flights and Day 2 action.

The schedule runs from August 17 through August 31 and stands on its own as an additional tournament slate. Players can enter the Venom Specials without taking part in the $15 Million Dual Venoms, opening the window to a broader range of session plans.

Venom Specials formats include regular No-Limit Hold’em tournaments, Progressive Knockouts, 6-Max events, Mystery Bounty tournaments and Omaha variants. Individual guarantees begin at $15,000 and reach $750,000.

Monday, August 17 starts the series with 15 tournaments and $915,000 guaranteed. The next two dates bring $820,000 across 11 events on August 20 and $1.84 million across 12 tournaments on August 23. The first wave therefore accounts for $3.575 million.

Another 11-tournament slate follows August 24 with $805,000 guaranteed. August 27 matches that event count while increasing the day’s guarantees to $995,000.

The schedule then moves into its biggest two days. August 30 offers 13 tournaments and $2.34 million, including $600,000, $500,000 and $250,000 guarantees. August 31 finishes with 18 tournaments and $2.445 million. Its largest event carries $750,000 GTD, joined by a $500,000 GTD tournament and a $200,000 GTD Progressive Knockout.

Across the final four dates, ACR Poker has allocated $6.585 million in guarantees, giving the back half of the schedule nearly twice the total of the first three dates.

Before Venom Specials begin, the broader Dual Venom window opens Thursday, August 13 with the $12 million GTD NLH Mystery Bounty Venom and $3 million GTD PLO Mystery Bounty Venom. Both have a $2,650 buy-in. Their top bounties are $500,000 and $250,000, respectively.
