Alex Foxen’s Bracelet Summer Starts Americas Cardroom’s 14-Part WSOP Interview Series

Americas Cardroom is beginning a 14-part weekly editorial interview series with Alex Foxen, whose 2026 WSOP included a fourth career bracelet, 14 cashes and more than $2 million in listed payouts.

Foxen won the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em event for $594,246, but the opening story is not structured as a tournament recap. The series uses natural interviews or voice-note conversations as the foundation for full editorial features that explore the moments and decisions that standard results coverage can leave behind.

That approach gives Foxen room to revisit the three-way all-in that helped propel him toward bracelet No. 4 and to unpack other major runs from the summer. Those include seventh place in the $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha event and a final-table appearance in the $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em event.

The conversation also reaches beyond his own results. His wife, Kristen Foxen, won the sixth bracelet of her career in the $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em event before Alex later added his fourth. When asked which moment he expects to remember most, he chose presenting Kristen with her bracelet and celebrating her achievement from the other side of the stage.

Foxen also discusses what he can still improve, the near misses and hands he continues to think about, and two broader lessons from the summer. He came away with a greater appreciation for mixed games and a stronger awareness of the effect fatigue can have on execution during a long tournament series.

The weekly project will ultimately feature 14 participants. The planned lineup includes Chris Hunichen, Chris Moorman, Chance Kornuth, Chris Moneymaker, Robert Kuhn, Katie Lindsay, Jeff Boski, Ana Marquez, Drew Gonzalez, Monika Zukowicz, Jon Pardy, Michael Loncar, and Rene and Casey Nezhoda.

Individual publication dates have not been assigned across the full lineup, and the running order may change as interviews are completed and approved. Each installment will focus on the participant’s own experience of the 2026 WSOP.
