West Ham United sign Manor Solomon
West Ham United is delighted to announce the signing of Manor Solomon.
The 27-year-old has joined from Tottenham Hotspur on an initial three-year contract, with the option for a further year, for an undisclosed fee.
An experienced winger who has scored and created goals wherever he has played, Solomon has 49 senior caps for Israel and appeared nearly 30 times in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.
Solomon has 84 direct goal involvements in 280 career club appearances, along with 21 for his country, and was identified as a key attacking target by Director of Player Recruitment Nils Koppen and Head Coach Nuno Espírito Santo.
He won three Ukrainian titles with Shakhtar Donetsk, appeared in the Premier League for Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur, was influential as Leeds United won the EFL Championship in 2024/25, and has played in La Liga and Serie A for Villarreal and Fiorentina respectively.
West Ham’s new No10 is looking forward to pulling on a Claret and Blue shirt and helping the Club get back to the Premier League.
Solomon said: “I’m really happy to be here, happy to be a Hammer, and I can’t wait to get started!
“I know West Ham has a rich history both in the Premier League and in Europe. It’s a Club that won a European trophy just three years ago, and I think this is where the Club should be, and I’m here to help the Club to be where it belongs.
“I’ve spoken both with the manager and with Nils. They showed me the project, what they want to build there. Of course, our first task is to get promoted, to go back to the Premier League. I really like all the ideas and everything they have presented for me.
“I’ll try to give my all in the first season and then in the seasons ahead. I want to be here for a long time and I want to make the fans really happy.”
Director of Player Recruitment Koppen said: “We are delighted to welcome Manor to West Ham United.
“He is a creative, exciting and versatile attacking player, who likes to score and assist, and works very hard for the team.
“He also has proven quality and recent experience in the EFL Championship, and knows what will be needed for us to be successful in this challenge.
“Manor is hungry and highly motivated to be here, and we look forward to seeing the qualities and attributes he will bring to West Ham United.”
Solomon becomes West Ham’s third permanent signing of the summer transfer window, following Venezuela midfielder Keiber Lamadrid and experienced Dutch defender Joël Veltman.
West Ham United would like to welcome Manor to east London and wish him every success for his career in Claret and Blue.
