WEBWIRE

A final video call, some last-minute work or simply relaxing before departure. Travellers can enjoy all of this in the new Privium ClubLounge South at Schiphol. Interior architects D/DOCK designed the lounge, which has been developed exclusively for Privium Plus members and is conveniently located near the B, C, and future A gates. Covering more than 800 square metres and accommodating up to 125 guests, it is the largest Privium Lounge at Schiphol. Travellers will find everything they need for a comfortable start to their journey within the Schengen area, including quiet workspaces, meeting facilities, a shower and an extensive selection of food and drinks.

Designed around travellers’ needs
The design of Privium ClubLounge South was developed with the needs and wants of Privium members in mind. More and more travellers want the flexibility to decide how they spend their time at the airport, whether that means getting some work done, preparing for a meeting, or simply unwinding before their flight. Featuring natural materials, plenty of greeny and dedicated zones for both work and relaxation, ClubLounge South offers a calms and comfortable environment at the dynamic heart of Schiphol. Later this year, an exclusive security lane will be added that leads directly into the lounge. this will enable Privium members tot travel even more quickly and seamlessly from the departure hall tot the lounge and onwards to their gate.

The time our members spend at Schiphol is becoming increasingly valuable. That is why, when developing ClubLounge South, we focused not only on creating more space, but above all on how we could make that time as comfortable and productive as possible. With this lounge, we offer Privium members a place to prepare for their journey, work in a quiet environment, or simply recharge before their flight. This makes the lounge a valuable addition to the Privium offering at Schiphol. It feels especially meaningful to open this lounge in the year that Privium celebrates its 25 th anniversary.

A new contemporary food and beverage offering
Travellers can enjoy a varied selection of freshly prepared food and drinks throughout the day in the lounge. The updated food and beverage concept is designed to follow the rhythm of the day, from a quality breakfast and barista-made coffee in the morning to freshly baked sandwiches, salads, and a range of hot and cold dishes later in the day. By making more use of individually portioned items, the offering is better aligned with travellers’ needs while also helping to reduce food waste.

Quality at every stage of the journey
With the addition of ClubLounge South, Schiphol now offers four Privium lounges across the airport. This allows Privium members to enjoy enhanced comfort, personal service and premium facilities at more points throughout their journey. The opening of the new lounge supports Schiphol’s ambition to provide travelleres with greater choice and higher quality services, from the moment they arrive at the airport until the moment they depart.

The lounge will open on 6 August 2026. In addition to Privium Plus members, travellers without a Privium membership can also gain access by purchasing a Lounge Voucher. More information about Privium and the different membership options can be found here.
