Hearst Magazines Names Matteo Gabba Senior Vice President, Hearst Global Solutions
Hearst Magazines announced the appointment of Matteo Gabba as senior vice president of Hearst Global Solutions (HGS), the company’s full-service solutions provider that creates multi-market advertising opportunities across the company’s portfolio of iconic brands around the world. Reporting to Lisa Ryan Howard, global chief revenue officer, Gabba will oversee the continued growth of HGS, helping advertisers connect with audiences through multi-market partnerships. The announcement was made by Lisa Ryan Howard and Jonathan Wright, president of Hearst Magazines International.
“Matteo brings extensive international commercial experience and a collaborative approach to building lasting client relationships,” said Howard. “He understands what global marketers need today, and I’m excited to welcome him to Hearst as we continue to expand Hearst Global Solutions.”
“One of Hearst’s greatest strengths is our combination of global scale and deep local expertise,” said Wright. “Hearst Global Solutions brings those strengths together for advertisers around the world, and Matteo brings the experience and leadership to help us build on that momentum while delivering even greater value for our clients.”
Before joining Hearst, Gabba spent nearly a decade in senior international commercial leadership roles at Condé Nast, most recently as vice president of global commercial partnerships and global head of industry and business development, where he led global partnerships and multi-market commercial strategies for international advertisers. Earlier in his career, he held commercial and business development roles across the media industry, in both Milan and New York, bringing extensive marketing and digital experience to HGS.
“I’m excited to join Hearst and build on the strong foundation already in place,” Gabba said. “Hearst’s trusted brands and global reach create meaningful opportunities for marketers to connect with audiences around the world. I look forward to working with our teams and partners to deepen client relationships and deliver innovative solutions that drive results around the globe.”
HGS helps advertisers connect with audiences across Hearst’s portfolio of more than 260 magazine editions and 200 digital properties worldwide, combining global scale with deep local market expertise.
Gabba will be based in the Hearst UK office and will begin his new role on September 1.
