Hendle joined the Chelsea Academy aged 12, having previously played in the London City Lionesses youth system.

‘It feels great to sign my first professional contract’ said Hendle. ‘I have worked really hard to get to this moment so it is really rewarding to sign my first professional contract with Chelsea.

‘I am extremely grateful to the club, my team-mates and staff for their constant belief in me and I’m looking forward to my future at this club.’

Hendle, who turned 18 in April, is a left winger but has also played at full-back. She has represented England youth teams from Under-16s up to Under-20s.

This summer Hendle was part of the England Under-20 squad that won a mini-tournament in the USA - featuring the hosts and Colombia - serving as preparation for the Under-20 World Cup in September.

Rangers finished second in the Scottish Women’s Premier League last season, earning them a spot in the qualification rounds of the Champions League for 2026/27.

Everyone at Chelsea would like to congratulate Eva on signing her first professional contract. We wish her every success during her time with Rangers.
