FIAT accelerates across Europe with 21.7% Growth in the First Half of 2026
FIAT continues to accelerate across Europe (EU29), closing the first half of 2026 with outstanding commercial results. Compared with the same period of 2025, the brand recorded a 21.7% year-on-year increase in registrations, raising its market share to 3.3%, up 0.4% versus the prior year, and achieving the strongest market share growth among Stellantis’ core brands. While Europe remains the focus of this performance, these results also reflect FIAT’s broader global positioning, with the brand holding leadership positions in Italy, Brazil and Algeria — three key markets across its international footprint.
Italy remains FIAT’s largest market, with the brand reaching a 12.6% share in the first six months of the year, up 1.2 percentage points versus the same period of 2025.
Strong progress was also recorded in France, where registrations increased by 35.8%, and in Germany, where FIAT grew by 24.6%. Positive momentum extended across several other key markets, including Poland (+35.1%), Belgium-Luxembourg (+15.9%), the United Kingdom (+16.7%) and Portugal (+11.6%). Austria delivered one of the strongest performances in Europe, with registrations up 74.5% and market share reaching 2.5%.
FIAT’s performance is mainly driven by the strength of its core models, starting with its leadership in the A-segment across Europe, led by Pandina and 500.
Pandina confirms its leadership in the ICE A-segment in EU29 and continues to stand out as the best-selling car in Italy, while the Fiat 500 has returned to the top of the A-segment in Germany, further reinforcing FIAT’s leadership in the city-car category.
In addition, Grande Panda is already confirming its strong market impact, emerging as a key driver in the B-hatch segment, where it leads in Italy and ranks as the country’s third best-selling car overall.
In addition, FIAT leads the European electric quadricycle segment, with Topolino confirming its leadership since last year and continuing to gain momentum. The model achieved its best quarter ever in terms of order collection, up 30% versus last year, and is the market leader in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Belgium.
Excellent results also for FIAT Professional, which in Europe (EU29) reached a market share of 7.6% and confirmed its leadership in Italy with a 24.8% market share. In the Italian LCV market, Ducato was the overall best-selling model in the first half of the year, also leading its own segment, while Doblò ranked third overall and led its segment.
Building on a solid first-half performance and the continued rollout of new products, FIAT enters the second half of 2026 with the clear ambition to further strengthen its leadership delivering relevant and democratic mobility to all customers.
