ACR Poker Pros Have Notable Moments in ESPN’s WSOP Broadcast

ACR Poker Pros Alex Foxen and Chris Moneymaker became part of two interesting storylines in ESPN’s first four episodes covering the 2026 World Series of Poker Main Event.

The tournament drew 9,208 entries and built an $85,634,400 prize pool, with $10 million set aside for first place.

Foxen appeared in the early coverage as ESPN tracked his progress through the field. One of the broadcast’s standout hands came when he faced a large all-in wager from Vinh Nguyen.

Foxen held ace-jack after Nguyen raised and another player entered with a small three-bet. Nguyen then moved all in for more than 50 big blinds.

After reviewing the betting sequence and paying close attention to Nguyen’s table talk, Foxen called. Nguyen revealed jack-ten, and the board kept Foxen ahead.

The result gave Foxen a 142,500-chip pot and eliminated Nguyen from the tournament.

Moneymaker’s featured moment came during the “Bubble Cam” segment in Episode 3.

The 2003 Main Event champion was knocked out during hand-for-hand play after running into Antonio Vargas’ pocket aces. Stoyan Madanzhiev and Zhaken Seitbekov were eliminated at the same time.

With three players exiting and only two minimum-cash places available, the remaining $30,000 was divided evenly. Moneymaker, Madanzhiev and Seitbekov each received $10,000.

Moneymaker was nevertheless one of the players whose elimination officially brought the money bubble to an end.

His appearance added historical context to the broadcast. Moneymaker’s 2003 Main Event victory helped expand poker’s television audience and encouraged more online qualifiers to compete in major live events.

Foxen’s measured call and Moneymaker’s unusual bubble finish gave ACR Poker exposure during two notable moments from ESPN’s opening coverage.
