Betty is back to turn the world upside down. Prime Video announced today that the third season of Betty La Fea: The Story Continues, rebranded as Betty La Fea: Uglier Than Ever, premieres on August 28, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. This time, all episodes drop on the same day for a full binge experience.
The series returns with a refreshed look and a renewed energy that is felt from the very first minute. For the first time since the original novela, El Cuartel de las Feas reunites in full and the season also brings back beloved characters including El Francés and Román, two key figures from the original storyline who finally return to the screen.
This season finds Betty back in Bogotá for Hugo Lombardi’s farewell fashion show, where old emotions reignite and her path crosses once again with Armando’s. This time, Betty dares like never before: she starts therapy, gets her own apartment, and faces a crisis at Ecomoda after a plagiarism scandal, all while navigating an unexpected love triangle between Armando and Michel, her French ex who reappears to shake things up.
On the return of the series, Javiera Balmaceda, Head of International Originals for Latin America, Canada and Australia at Amazon MGM Studios, said:
“Betty is one of those characters who lives in the hearts of millions of people across the world. This new season honors that legacy while daring to take her story somewhere unexpected, and this new season arrives to surprise long-time fans and first-time viewers alike. We can’t wait for audiences everywhere to experience it.”
Betty La Fea: The Story Continues is produced by RCN Estudios, starring Ana María Orozco, Jorge Enrique Abello, Natalia Ramírez, Julián Arango, Lorna Cepeda, Mario Duarte, Juanita Molina, Carlos “Pity” Camacho, Diego Cadavid, Julio Cesar Herrera, Luces Velásquez T., Estefanía Gómez, Marcela Posada Arbeláez, María Eugenia Arboleda, Paula Peña, Jorge Herrera, Patrick Delmas, Alberto León Jaramillo, Zharick León, Brian Moreno and Geraldine Zivic.
