H&M’s New Collaboration with WARDROBE.NYC Masters the Modern Wardrobe

The WARDROBE.NYC H&M collaboration draws on the WARDROBE.NYC archives to present a tight edit of archetypal urban style. Impeccably cut tailoring in a timeless palette — wool coats, blazers, tailored skirts — anchors the collection, while washed denim, padded bombers, hoodies, and fluid drawstring pants lend a sophisticated ease to the more casual pieces. Underlying the collection, a series of highly versatile layers serves as the foundation of a wardrobe in which everything goes with everything else.

“What we wanted, above all, was for all these pieces to become staples. You’re building the base of a wardrobe and mixing it back in—with things you already own and with pieces from the collection itself. That versatility was always the goal,” says Christine Centenera.

“The way every shape is so well considered — you can really feel how it will be to wear one of these garments just by looking at it. These are pieces that will be in your wardrobe for a long time,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor and Head of Design Womenswear H&M

The WARDROBE.NYC H&M collection will launch in select stores and online at hm.com on 6 August 2026.
