Modern, flexible and spacious: the Opel Combo is a true all-rounder for family life, leisure and work. Opel is now making this versatile vehicle even more attractive. The Combo passenger car is now available with an efficient petrol engine at an entry-level price of €26,590 (RRP incl. VAT in Germany). Customers can therefore choose the powertrain that best suits their needs and intended use – from traditional petrol and diesel engines to the fully electric, locally emissions-free Combo Electric. With the new offer, Opel is offering its customers even greater freedom to select their ideal drive solution.
The Combo with a 1.2-litre petrol engine is available as a 4.41-metre-long ‘Edition’ variant, accommodating up to five passengers. The 81 kW (110 PS) engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and accelerates the Combo up to a top speed of 179 km/h.
Even the entry-level model comes equipped with a wide range of comfort and technology features as standard. Chief among them is the adaptive, glare-free Intelli-Lux Matrix lighting, which ensures optimum visibility at night and in all weather conditions, helping to enhance significant safety benefits for all road users. Comfort on hot days is boosted by the standard air conditioning system (dual-zone automatic climate control on the Combo Electric Edition) and the tinted heat-insulating glazing, while the rear parking pilot makes parking and manoeuvring in urban environments easier. The multimedia radio with 10-inch touchscreen provides excellent entertainment and connectivity and also supports wireless smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
With five occupants on board, the Combo Edition 1.2 can hold up to 1,355 litres of luggage capacity when loaded to the roof. With the front passenger and rear seats folded down, load volume increases to a maximum of 3,500 litres.
Combo drivers seeking greater flexibility on the road can also opt for the 4.76-metre-long Combo XL which is available with either a battery-electric or diesel powertrain. The XL variant optionally accommodates up to seven people in three rows. For added versatility, the Combo can be specified with three individual seats in the second row. Depending on the seating configuration, the Combo XL provides up to 4,000 litres of load capacity (to the roof). Practical features include the access to the load compartment via the tailgate window and the horizontally foldable passenger seat backrest.
