Americas Cardroom Launches $2.5 Million 25th Anniversary Tournament

Americas Cardroom is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a $2.5 Million Guaranteed poker tournament beginning this Saturday, July 18.

The $250 buy-in 25th Anniversary Tournament features 21 Day 1 flights and a cumulative stack format. Players who qualify more than once will have every advancing stack combined for Day 2.

The schedule starts with 11 Saturday-only Day 1 Turbo Flights running weekly from July 18 through September 26.

Ten Day 1 Regular Flights begin Sunday, August 30, and continue through Sunday, September 27.

Before each Saturday Turbo Flight, a $27.50 Mega Satellite will run at 10:45am ET, giving players a lower-cost route into the tournament.

Players who have already qualified can continue entering later flights. Every additional stack that survives a Turbo or Regular Flight will be added to their Day 2 chip total.

The tournament forms part of Americas Cardroom’s broader 25th anniversary schedule, which also includes the record-setting Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms in August.

The two Venom events carry $15 Million in combined guarantees. The $12 Million No-Limit Hold’em tournament features a $500,000 top bounty, while the $3 Million Pot-Limit Omaha tournament has a $250,000 top bounty.

Venom Fever will guarantee more than 1,500 seats to the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms.

Day 2 of the $2.5 Million 25th Anniversary Tournament takes place Monday, September 28. The Final Table follows Tuesday, September 29.
