ACR Poker Opens $2.5 Million Anniversary Tournament This Saturday
The $250 event gives players 21 Day 1 opportunities to qualify and grow their Day 2 stacks.
ACR Poker will begin its 25th anniversary celebration this Saturday, July 18, with a $2.5 Million Guaranteed tournament featuring an extended schedule and a cumulative stack structure.
The 25th Anniversary Tournament has a $250 buy-in and 21 Day 1 flights spread across more than two months. Players who advance from multiple flights will carry the combined value of those qualifying stacks into Day 2.
The first phase of the schedule includes 11 Day 1 Turbo Flights held every Saturday from July 18 through September 26.
Ten Day 1 Regular Flights will be added beginning Sunday, August 30, with the final flight taking place Sunday, September 27.
Each Saturday Turbo schedule will also feature a $27.50 Mega Satellite at 10:45am ET, giving players a lower-priced opportunity to earn entry into the anniversary event.
The cumulative format allows qualified players to keep competing throughout the schedule. Every additional stack advanced from a Turbo or Regular Flight will increase the player’s total starting stack for Day 2.
ACR Poker’s anniversary plans also include the record-setting Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms in August, with $15 Million in total guarantees across two events.
The No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty Venom has a $12 Million guarantee and a $500,000 top bounty. The Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty Venom features a $3 Million guarantee and a top bounty of $250,000.
More than 1,500 seats to the two Venom events are guaranteed through the Venom Fever satellite schedule.
Day 2 of the $2.5 Million 25th Anniversary Tournament is set for Monday, September 28. The Final Table will be played Tuesday, September 29.
