With a length of 4.66 m, a height of 1.63 m and a width of 1.90 m, DS N°7 exudes a charisma that ensures an immediately striking presencence. DS Automobiles’ new creation is now taking the road for a preview with the international test drives, before deliveries to the first customers set by the end of the year.

Its balanced proportions, elongated profile and perfectly controlled overhangs contribute to a balanced and statuesque silhouette, which immediately stands out on the road. Wheel diameter is 740 mm with wheels up to 21 inches.

At the front, DS N°7 offers two interpretations of the grille: a sleek black version or a more high-tech DS LUMINASCREEN version, which lights up and comes to life with vertical lines, while the DS emblem is backlit.

DS N°7 has a 0.26 Cx, among the best in its class, which gives it a range of up to 740 km. Combining elegance, dynamism and seating capacity without compromising on spaciousness, DS N°7 has an instantly seductive appearance. Its iconic light signature and bi-tone (black roof) or extended bi-tone body colour (black roof and black bonnet available as an option) complete a refined personality which makes it stand out at first glance.

Designed as a true SUV for journeys, DS N°7 places comfort, relaxation and refinement at the heart of the on-board experience. Every detail has been designed to provide a feeling of natural control, a remarkable filtering quality and permanent well-being, no matter how far you travel.

In the front, the seats with integrated headrests embody this desire. Using high-density foams with an additional layer for enhanced comfort and adjustable side supports, they ensure optimal support and first-rate comfort. Depending on the finish, they can be upholstered in DS Canvas, Alcantara® or naturally tanned Nappa leather. Heated, cooled and massaging, they can also be equipped with the exclusive DS NECK WARMER system, which circulates gentle heat around the back of the neck to enhance the feeling of well-being while optimizing onboard efficiency. This makes every journey a special experience.

True to DS Automobiles expertise, DS N°7’s interior stands out through an high build quality and the use of special materials. The Brand’s iconic signatures, such as the “Clous de Paris” embossed inserts, the watch strap–inspired seat upholstery and Pearl stitching, underline the attention to detail. The 10-inch digital instrument cluster and the 16-inch central display blend harmoniously into the interior architecture, enhancing the whole feeling of high-tech elegance. For the first time, DS N°7 can also be fitted with natural wood trim, adding an extra touch of warmth and sophistication. In the rear seats, the space has been extended thanks to in-depth work on the proportions and glass surfaces. Longer rear doors and the repositioning of the three-quarter pillar relative to the head area enhance the feeling of openness, while the large panoramic glass roof, with UV treatment and low-E coating dedicated to thermal performance in summer and winter, bathes the cabin in natural light. This architecture also allows for up to 25 mm more headroom, further enhancing passenger comfort.

DS N°7 combines elegance and practicality with a generous boot providing up to 560 litres of capacity depending on the powertrain and audio equipment specified. A size that rivals that of models from the higher segment. Thanks to its regular geometry and optimised layout, the available space is instantly usable. As standard, a two-position boot floor provides a perfectly flat surface when the rear seat backrests are folded down. Regardless of the configuration chosen, the charging cable can be stored under the floor to free up maximum luggage space. The opening width, the area between the wheel arches and the loading height have been preserved to ensure simple and efficient everyday use. With this in mind, DS Automobiles’ engineers have reviewed the layout of the boot hinges, to the direct benefit of practicality and comfort of use.

Based on the STLA Medium platform, DS N°7 enjoys a latest-generation architecture combining high structural stiffness with a remarkable level of filtering. This technical basis contributes to offering an ideal balance between benchmark comfort, driving precision and in-car relaxation.

From the very first kilometres, DS N°7 stands out with ergonomics designed around the driver. Its X-shaped steering wheel, a new Brand signature, provides a natural grip. DS N°7 E-TENSE pushes the standards of the category with up to 740 km of range on the WLTP combined cycle in its FWD LONG RANGE version. This performance is the result of a holistic approach to efficiency: optimised aerodynamics, high-performance electric engine, control of accessory consumption and a new-generation (97.2 kWh) battery made in France.

Three 100% electric powertrains are available and benefit from a Boost function to increase power when required:

Beyond pure performance, DS N°7 E-TENSE stands out for its particularly smooth and quiet driving experience. Acceleration is instantaneous but always progressive, in aid of occupant well-being.

To meet the expectations of all users, DS N°7 comes with a choice of two battery capacities, each developed to combine efficiency, ease of use and freedom of movement.

The first, with a usable capacity of 73.7 kWh, equips the FWD version with 230 hp and allows up to 543 kilometres of range on the WLTP combined cycle. The second, with a usable capacity of 97.2 kWh, enables the 245 hp DS N°7 FWD LONG RANGE to achieve up to 740 kilometres of range on the WLTP combined cycle. In real-world conditions, DS N°7 covers more than 400 km on highway with DS Drive Assist set at the speed limit and with 20% battery still available before charging, placing it among the benchmarks in the segment. The AWD LONG RANGE version of 350 hp with all-wheel drive has a range of up to 679 kilometres in the WLTP combined cycle.

Beyond the numbers, DS N°7 has been designed to maintain travel habits. Thanks to its exceptional fuel efficiency, the FWD LONG RANGE version can cover a motorway journey of more than 700 kilometres with a single charging stop, while keeping more than 40 kilometres of range at the finish. An approach that transforms the electric mobility experience: the driver chooses the take a break according to their wishes and pace of travel, and not the constraints imposed by charging.

This freedom of use is also based on the charging performance. Thanks to optimised battery management and a controlled charging curve, DS N°7 FWD LONG RANGE goes from 20 to 80% in 27 minutes, with power maintained at up to 160 kW between 20 and 55%, allowing up to 200 km of range to be recovered in just 10 minutes.

The version equipped with the 73.7 kWh battery also benefits from particularly efficient fast charging, with an increase from 20 to 80% in 30 minutes. In both cases, controlling the load curve not only helps to optimise downtime, but also to sustainably preserve the performance and longevity of the battery.

A HYBRID powertrain that meets all market expectations.

Alongside the E-TENSE POWERTRAINS, DS N°7 HYBRID occupies a strategic place in the range. The 145 hp powertrain combines a new-generation 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine, specifically developed for this hybrid powertrain, with a 21 kW (28 hp) electric motor integrated into the six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Thanks to this particularly efficient architecture, DS N°7 HYBRID can drive up to 50% of the time in electric mode in urban and suburban use, while maintaining the versatility expected of an SUV intended for long as well as daily journeys. With fuel consumption from 5.3 l/100 km and CO₂ emissions from 120 g/km, among the lowest in its class, this powertrain is a particularly relevant response to market expectations.

The in-car navigation system with EV Routing automatically plans journeys by integrating real-time vehicle data, route profile, traffic conditions and the desired load level on arrival. It also allows you to set your energy supplier preferences and filter out Plug & Charge compatible points etc… This on-board intelligence optimises charging stops and helps reduce overall travel time.

To ensure optimal charging performance in all seasons, DS N°7 also has a battery preconditioning system, combined with a heat pump as standard on all E-TENSE versions. The battery is thereby prepared before arriving at a rapid-charging point to achieve the best possible charging conditions.

The experience extends beyond the car thanks to the MyDS app, which allows you to prepare your journeys in advance with the e-Routes service and transfer them directly to the in-car navigation system. The PLUG & CHARGE feature simplifies charging at compatible charging points by eliminating the need for identification and payment steps.

These services are based on the Free2move Charge ecosystem, which provides access to more than 800,000 charging points across Europe, including more than 135,000 rapid charging points, making long-distance travel easier.
