Today, the LEGO Group and Formula 1 unveiled 22 fully drivable, LEGO® minicars that will take to the track as part of the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2026 Drivers Parade this Sunday. For the first time, the drivers will get behind the wheel of their own single-seater minicar made of over 28,000 LEGO bricks and capable of reaching speeds of up to 25km/h.

The announcement comes following last year’s FORMULA 1 MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2025 Drivers Parade where 10 fully drivable big build LEGO cars, inspired by the LEGO F1 Collection Speed Champions range took to the track, with F1 drivers behind the wheel. What unfolded was a lap of chaos, childlike joy, and laughter. This year, the minicars were inspired by each F1 teams 2026 livery, with team emblems, colourways and driver numbers all included to make the minicars look and feel as authentic as possible – with a fun LEGO spin.

"We always listen to our fans, and it was clear from the 2025 Miami Grand Prix Drivers Parade that both fans and drivers wanted more,” said Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer of the LEGO Group. “We’re back with a 2.0 version in a brand-new format, bringing even more fun and excitement to the parade.

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1, said: “[i]Last year the F1 LEGO Drivers’ Parade in Miami with the LEGO big build cars was one of the most memorable and talked-about moments of the season, capturing the imagination of fans around the world and showing a different side of the sport. This year, we’re building on that moment to create an incredible spectacle for fans attending the British Grand Prix and those watching globally. There is something truly special about bringing together the worlds of Formula 1 and LEGO play, combining innovation, creativity, and entertainment in a way that can inspire and excite fans of all ages.[/i"

These unique minicars were created by a skilled team of 20 designers, engineers and LEGO builders, developed over 6,400 hours in the LEGO Group’s Kladno factory, located in the Czech Republic.
