Aon Appoints Mike Reid as EMEA Leader of Facultative Reinsurance

Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced the appointment of Mike Reid as EMEA CEO of Facultative Reinsurance, effective July 1, 2026.

Reid assumes the role from Nick Fraccalvieri, who led Facultative for EMEA for three years and was named Global CEO of Facultative Reinsurance for Aon in March. Reid will build on this strong foundation, continuing to deliver solutions that help shape better capital decisions for clients. Based in London, Reid will report to Tomas Novotny, EMEA CEO and International Chairman for Reinsurance, and Fraccalvieri, as part of the global Facultative leadership team.

Reid joins Aon from Sompo, where he served as head of UK property and casualty. He brings nearly 30 years of experience across the insurance industry and has led underwriting teams and portfolios across UK commercial insurance as well as international wholesale and specialty lines.
