Michael Roney appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of Waterstones Barnes & Noble Ltd.

Barnes & Noble is pleased to announce the appointment, effective July 1 ^st, of Michael Roney as Non-Executive Chairman of Waterstones Barnes & Noble Ltd. (“WBN”, formerly Bookshop TopCo Ltd.)

Michael currently serves as Non-Executive Chairman of Next plc and Non-Executive Director of Brown-Forman Corporation. He was previously CEO of Bunzl plc from 2005 to 2016.

WBN is the holding company for Barnes & Noble Inc., with 712 bookstores and 107 Paper Source stores in the United States of America, and for Waterstones, with 320 bookshops in the United Kingdom and Europe. WBN is owned by funds advised by Elliott Advisors (UK) Limited.
