H&M Home Fall 2026 Presents a Contemporary Interpretation of Modernism
The H&M HOME Fall collection celebrates the enduring relevance of Modernist design, reimagined through a soft and contemporary perspective for the modern home. Materials such as wood, stone, glass and brushed metal are paired with soft textiles and graphic accents, while a restrained palette of warm whites, soft beige and deep black creates contrast and definition throughout the collection. The H&M HOME Fall collection launches in stores and online at hm.com/home on 27th August 2026.
Inspired by the Modernist movement of the early 20th century – an era defined by clean lines, functional beauty and sculptural simplicity, the collection explores the relationship between timeless design principles and contemporary living. Glossy and matte surfaces interact with natural light, enhancing the sculptural silhouettes and geometric forms that define the season.
The first focus is the livingroom, where comfort and style are interlinked. The wooden sofa table is the centerpiece, a stylish spot that displays decorative objects and sculptural pieces, such as a ceramic vases, a scented candle cloche that comes in black, metallic or white, candle holders, brushed metal vases, marble boxes to notebooks. The sofa is layered with textured blankets and creamy linen cushions with a black-edge border stitch in a variety of sizes, mixed with bouclé textures and graphic stripe cushions.
“For this fall season, we wanted to take a closer look at the beauty of restraint, where every piece is intentional. We have been inspired by the enduring language of modernisn and wanted to explore clean lines and balanced proportions to create pieces with strong silhouettes and refined details that quietly transform spaces. Whether it’s a structured linen cushion, a statement metal vase or the interplay between materials and textures – each object in this collection is designed to stand on its own, adding to a harmonious and deeply personal home.” says Evelina Kravaev Söderberg, Head of Design & Creative at H&M HOME.
Furniture and decorative objects are treated as functional sculptures – timeless and tactile. The collection also includes a wooden desk, floor- and wall-mounted shelving, and a side table, alongside metallic alternatives for coffee tables, side tables, and compact wall shelves. Table lamps are offered in ceramic and metallic finishes, with abstract forms that subtly reference the Modernist movement while remaining elevated and relevant for contemporary interiors.
The master bedroom offers a quieter expression of the collection – a serene retreat inspired by minimalist East Coast interiors, blending organic textures with refined graphic details. Striped and checked bedding in a variety of textures from satin to cotton, soft curtains, bolster cushions and elevated sleepwear create a calm and sophisticated atmosphere designed for rest and restoration.
The fall dinner table is set with clean lines and curated essentials only. Neutral tones and monochrome combinations allow the materials combinations to take centre stage, from ceramics, metal, smoked glass to wood and stone. The rounded tableware come in an array of plates and serving platters, and are paired with sleek glass high ball or tumbler glasses, a stylish decanter, placecard holders in metal and geometric metal coupes. Finally, for the after dinner digestif there is a mini-bar collection including a bar shaker, wine cooler, ice bucket to marble coasters and wine opener, in additon to an assortment of glasses in smoked glass.
The H&M HOME Fall 2026 campaign is interpreted and styled by interior designer Lotta Agaton, unfolding as an intimate invitation into the creative process of designing a home and a space. Through serene, uncluttered interiors and carefully curated compositions, the collection highlights the beauty of restraint, where every object, small or large is purposeful and every detail intentional.
“The objects in this collection have a sculptural quality, where each piece is designed to feel expressive and complete. The aim was for the campaign imagery to reflect that sense of clarity, focusing on form, texture and materiality. The campaign offers a glimpse into my creative process as a stylist, exploring how objects, light and architecture interact to shape an atmosphere and evoke emotion.” says Lotta Agaton, founder of Lotta Agaton Interiors.
