The newly established awards programme aims to highlight the most exceptional destinations, hidden gems, and culinary hotspots across the globe. As a global travel platform serving millions of customers across 44 markets, eDreams ODIGEO maintains an ongoing dialogue with its broad traveller base, notably its rapidly growing community of Prime subscribers.

To capture the true voice of today’s consumer, the company invited travellers across its platforms to rate their experiences directly. This first edition combines the valuable perspectives of frequent subscription members and the wider global travel community, showcasing a diverse array of global winners that reflect the evolving preferences of modern travellers who seek unique experiences, deep cultural immersion, and outstanding natural beauty.

The final results reveal clear winners across all five core categories, alongside highly competitive second position runners up:

• Best Family Destination: Dominican Republic was crowned the winner, with Portugal securing the second position.
  
  
• Best Hidden Gem: Guatemala achieved the premier ranking, followed by New Zealand in second position.
  
  
• Best Nature Destination: Canada was named the ultimate nature destination, with the Bahamas taking second position.
  
  
• Best Food Destination: Hungary won the culinary category, followed by Jalisco in second position.
