Datavail Appoints Dave Armstrong as Vice President of Sales

Boulder, CO, USA – WEBWIRE

Datavail, a leading provider of data, analytics, AI, and application modernization services, today announced the appointment of Dave Armstrong as Vice President of Sales. In this role, Armstrong will drive growth by expanding strategic client relationships and accelerating enterprise go-to-market execution.

Armstrong brings more than 25 years of experience in enterprise technology consulting and sales, focused on delivering measurable business outcomes through cloud, data, and application modernization initiatives.

Most recently, Armstrong served as a Senior Enterprise Client Executive at IBM, where he led Microsoft-aligned transformation programs across global enterprises. Partnering with C-suite stakeholders, Microsoft, and IBM Consulting leadership, he helped align Azure, Data & AI, and application modernization initiatives to enterprise strategy—driving value through large-scale, outcome-based transformation.

Prior to IBM, Armstrong held leadership roles at Neudesic, Hitachi Solutions America, and Capax Global, and spent more than a decade at Anexinet as an Enterprise Account Executive. During his tenure, he consistently delivered year-over-year growth and was recognized as both “Rising Star” and “Account Executive of the Year.” His experience spans analytics, cloud, applications, and digital transformation.

“Dave brings a strong ability to connect executive strategy to real, measurable client outcomes,” said Leah Bowling, Chief Revenue Officer at Datavail. “His experience leading complex, Microsoft-led transformation initiatives will be instrumental as we continue to scale our data, cloud, and AI business.”

Armstrong’s appointment reflects Datavail’s continued investment in building a high-performing enterprise sales organization. The company’s end-to-end model spans transformation (“build”) through 24x7 global managed services (“run”), helping clients sustain value from their technology investments.

“I’m excited to join Datavail at a time when organizations are looking to turn data and AI investments into real business impact,” said Armstrong. “Datavail’s ability to combine transformation with long-term operations makes it a uniquely strong partner for clients.”
