Standard Chartered appoints Edward McBride as Global Head, Consumer & Retail, M&A Advisory

Standard Chartered announces the appointment of Edward McBride as Global Head, Consumer & Retail, M&A Advisory, effective today.

Based in London, Edward will report to Rajesh Singhi, Global Head, M&A Advisory.

In his new role, Edward will help drive the growth of Standard Chartered’s global consumer and retail advisory franchise, deepening client relationships and enhancing the Bank’s ability to deliver complex, cross-border transactions across its global network. His appointment reflects the Bank’s continued investments in strengthening sector-led advisory expertise in its key markets.

With over 25 years of experience in investment banking, Edward joins Standard Chartered from Deutsche Bank in London, where he led coverage of large, UK-based consumer, retail, leisure and lodging corporates and sponsor clients. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Citi and private equity firm PAI Partners.
