Peugeot Cycles Chooses the 24 Hours of Le Mans to Announce Its Comeback
- As Peugeot Cycles is taking advantage of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, from June 10 to 14, 2026, to announce its return and unveil its new range. It is a symbolic announcement for a brand founded in 1886, with a unique industrial and sporting heritage.
- Presented at the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit, the collection brings together electric-assist and non-assisted bikes designed for all uses: road, gravel, mountain biking, city riding, and long-distance travel. Inspired by the Peugeot DNA - French flair, riding sensations, and durability - this range combines design, performance, and sustainable mobility.
The design and licensed production of this new range are led by the Rebirth Group, a French new-mobility specialist behind the revival of many iconic brands. Owner of the Re-Cycles France business in Romilly-sur-Seine (Peugeot’s historic factory), Rebirth will oversee series production, scheduled to begin in October 2026. Sales will start at the end of 2026 and in early 2027 depending on the model, through the Rebirth Group’s Velo & Oxygen and Ovelo networks.
In line with a French tradition focused on innovation, the two parties, Peugeot and the Rebirth Group, chose Michelin, a global benchmark in tires, to equip the new range.
