Schneider Electric recognized as a Future of Inclusion Lighthouse for its Senior Talent Program
Schneider Electric , a global energy technology leader, today announced that it has been recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Future of Inclusion Lighthouse for its global program for experienced talent. The program supports employees at later career stages to build the next chapter of their careers through personalized development and opportunities aligned with their aspirations.
This recognition highlights Schneider Electric’s commitment to fostering inclusion across ages and career stages, strengthening organizational resilience in response to global demographic shifts, a growing skills gap, and longer working lives. The program supports employees as they navigate different career paths, whether accelerating into greater responsibility, continuing to deliver impact, pivoting into new roles, knowledge-sharing opportunities, or preparing for retirement—while strengthening intergenerational collaboration across teams.
People-centric company by design
Schneider Electric launched its global experienced talent program in 2021 as part of its comprehensive People Strategy, with the goal of providing equal opportunities and continuous support throughout every stage of professional life. This initiative enables employees to shape their next career phase in line with their aspirations, while advancing the company’s broader inclusion and sustainability ambitions.
By combining a strong global framework with local adaptation, Schneider Electric has built a flexible and scalable approach. The program is structured around four illustrative personas — Accelerate, Continue, Pivot, and Transition — supported by a common toolbox that includes upskilling and reskilling, knowledge transfer, mutual mentoring, coaching, new contractual opportunities, and post-retirement collaboration.
As of 2025, the program has delivered measurable progress. Ninety-three percent of Schneider Electric employees in later career stages are now based in countries with access to meaningful career development support, alongside increased employee engagement and a rise in career conversations among experienced talent.
“We are honored to be recognized as a Future of Inclusion Lighthouse for our experienced talent program,” said Charise Le, Chief HR Officer at Schneider Electric. “At Schneider Electric, we see experience is a powerful driver of resilience, innovation, and inclusion. By enabling our people to shape the next stage of their careers, we are creating more equitable opportunities, strengthening collaboration across generations, and ensuring critical expertise continues to create value for our people, our customers, and our business.”
This initiative is embedded in Schneider Electric’s global Sustainability Impact 2030 strategy, positioning age inclusion as a pillar of the company’s long-term impact. Progress is tracked through dedicated KPIs, supported by regular leadership reviews and accountability across countries and entities.
