Scholastic Donates Books and Scholastic Magazine Subscriptions to Arizona School on NBC’s TODAY

In a recent segment on NBC’s TODAY show celebrating a 7th-grade math teacher at Rim Country Middle School in Arizona, Scholastic donated $10,000 worth of books to the school’s library as well as more than 100 Scholastic Magazine subscriptions–one for every teacher in the school.

The teacher, Mr. Philip Lindsay, has gained more than 2 million followers on social media by posting video explainers decoding middle school slang. In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, Mr. Lindsay was recognized and received the special Scholastic donation at a surprise assembly.
