Sandy Baltimore renews contract with Chelsea

The 26-year-old joined the Blues from Paris Saint-Germain in her native France ahead of the 2024/25 campaign and made her debut in our opening day win against Aston Villa that season.

We would go on to win an unbeaten domestic Treble that season as Baltimore made 29 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals and contributing with six assists. Her performance in the Women’s FA Cup final stood out in particular as she scored twice in our 3-0 win over Manchester United.

During the 2025/26 season, Baltimore reached a milestone landmark when she made her 50th appearance for the Blues after being introduced as a second-half substitute during a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the WSL in February.

Upon signing her new deal, Baltimore said: ‘Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs. We have a top quality team, and I want to compete with the best players in the world every day, that’s why I chose to stay here. I want to keep improving and try to win every trophy possible.’

A modern wing-back with an abundance of technical quality, Baltimore has the energy to patrol the left flank as she performs her defensive duties with strength and poise, while also able to take on players in one-on-one situations as she contributes to the attack with goals and assists.

At international level, Baltimore rose through France’s youth ranks and was part of the side that won the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship, scoring a goal in the final against Germany. Making her senior debut for Les Bleues in December 2020, Baltimore has since earned 55 caps for her country and has scored 11 goals.
