About the Author:
Born in America’s heartland in 1940, Gentry Thomason’s life was shaped by transformative experiences in his thirties, experiences that inspired the creation of his 198 poemographs. He holds a B.A. from William Jewell College and an M.A. from San Diego State University. For 22 years, he taught Literature and Composition with the Los Angeles Unified School District, instilling in students the same passion for inquiry that animates his writing.
