Sky Confirms Saturday Night Live UK will return this September for Series Two
Saturday Night Live UK will return for a second series, as Sky confirms it has commissioned 12 more episodes of the British incarnation of NBC’s legendary late-night comedy showcase.
The news comes as the landmark first series draws to a close next week, which has so far seen Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan, Riz Ahmed, Jack Whitehall, Nicola Coughlan and Aimee Lou Wood go live from London on Saturday night.
Sky confirmed series two will return to Sky One, with its 12 episodes airing between autumn 2026 and early 2027.

SNL UK is produced by UTAS UK and Broadway Video for Sky and NOW. Lorne Michaels is executive producing; for Broadway Video, Erin David serves as producer; for UTAS UK, Managing Director Helen Kruger Bratt oversees production. SNL UK was commissioned by Phil Edgar Jones, Executive Director of Unscripted Originals at Sky, for Cecile Frot Coutaz, Chief Advertising and Content Officer, Sky, CEO Sky Studios.
Two episodes remain of series 1, with Hannah Waddingham set to host this Saturday night (9th May) joined by musical guest Myles Smith and on 16th May Ncuti Gatwa will host SNL UK’s finale episode alongside musical guest Holly Humberstone.
Saturday Night Live UK will return in September at 10pm on Sky One and streaming service NOW.
