Game Pak Decor Pikmin arrive in Pikmin Bloom

This month, the Pikmin™ Bloom game for smart devices brings a touch of classic Nintendo nostalgia to your daily walks! As part of a new in-game event running throughout the month, players can meet Game Pak Decor Pikmin.

Whether you’re setting out on a quick stroll or taking your time on a weekend walk, every step helps you get closer to discovering these Pikmin carrying miniature versions of iconic Nintendo game cartridges.

From May 1 at 12:00 a.m. through May 31 at 11:59 p.m. (local time), players can take on special Event Challenge missions. Clearing these missions earns rewards at random, which may include:

• Seedlings that grow into
  
  Game Pak Decor Pikmin

• Pixel-Art Flowers

• Flower petals and other helpful items

When the Big Flower at the center of the Event Challenge stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling in addition to your random rewards.

Keep in mind that there are eight different types of Game Pak Decor Pikmin, and seedlings grow into one at random—so collecting the full set is part of the fun!

In addition to Event Challenges, players will receive special missions centered around collecting Pixel-Art Flowers. These missions offer a choice of rewards, including*:

• Event-inspired
  
  Mii costumes

• Seedlings for
  
  Nintendo Consoles ’80–’95 Decor Pikmin

• Seedlings for
  
  Playing Card (Clubs and Joker) Decor Pikmin

Pixel-Art Flowers can be earned through Event Challenge rewards, flower planting, Mystery Boxes from Brilliant Mushrooms, and select shop purchases. Once the event ends, these missions—and Pixel-Art Flowers—will no longer be available.

During the event, players may encounter Brilliant Mushrooms, which drop Mystery Boxes containing Pixel-Art Flowers and other items. Game Pak Decor Pikmin, Nintendo Consoles ’80–’95 Decor Pikmin, and all Playing Card Decor Pikmin are especially effective against these mushrooms.

On select weekends, Giant Brilliant Mushrooms will appear, offering rare Mystery Boxes. You can also use the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn up to three times per day on these weekends to team up with friends.
